Jola Merrick's biography
Jola is the clinical lead of a 70-bedded Nursing Home for elderly frail and dementia residents and has previously been the registered manager of a large successful Nursing Home.She has specialised in the care of the elderly for the last ten years with Tissue Viability being a very important part of her work.
Having completed her degree module in Tissue Viability and also Dementia she is able to offer high quality research based care to the residents as well as teaching, advising and supporting nurses, carers and student nurses.
She is very active within Tissue Viability locally being a member of the County Tissue Viability Team and regularly takes part in many projects.
